Purpose, background and current position
Extend primary drainage on the heaviest-clay holes at Scotscraig to reduce winter closures and protect green-fee income.
Phase 1 reduced winter closures by 38% on the front nine. Phase 2 covers fairways 11–15 and is expected to deliver a comparable uplift, paying back lost green-fee income within two seasons.
Construction-ready. Awaiting £280k phase 2 funding release (d3). Programme is at 41% but flagged At Risk pending board funding.
